KG grew by 17,9 percent by achieving a turnover of EUR 771,5 million. Even though the market environment has been affected by uncertainties, the company can look back on a successful financial year 2022.

The expansion of the state-of-the-art logistics centre for industrial supplies in Europe has laid the foundation for the further growth of Würth Industrie Service, both at national and international level. The excavations for building a new automated high-bay warehouse with additional 59,000 storage spaces covering more than 4,000 square metres started at the end of July 2022. The official ground-breaking ceremony was held on Thursday, 4th August, 2022 marking the symbolic go-ahead for the construction.

1,000,000th bin picked up

iSCALE - The new scale system
Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. Kg is adding the innovative scale system iSCALE to its portfolio of fully-automated C-Parts solutions. iSCALE is a sensor-controlled scale, which is directly connected with the Kanban bin and is independently movable. As a result, it can be used flexibly in the industrial environment: at the assembly line, material storage, Kanban location or directly at the workplace. On the basis of the weight, the system notifies the requirements of production materials and other small parts digitally - from the customer’s point of use directly to the ERP system of Würth Industrie Service and ensures an exact replenishment. Because certainty is of utmost importance in the entire supply chain!
